Why a 25+ meme ?

Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds.  Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !

Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

I keep thinking I should give the Sims 3 another chance. I've tried twice to play it but I just can't take the pudding faces! @_@ I keep thinking maybe if I download a bunch of CC first and then try to play again I'll be able to give it a fair shake, but I love the Sims 2 too much! XD Of course, my game's been giving me massive issues lately so maybe that's a sign to move on.

Also, I saw some magic words in your interests and anyone who loves zombies can absolutely be my friend! Add away!

I really miss SIms 2. :( I lent mine to a friensd and then he gave me all my expansions back claiming the base games was his. Which it wasn't...and I'm passive...and since Sims 3 was coming out I was even lest motivated to be assertive...

Yaya zombies!! Dawn of the Dead 1978 is my favorite movie of all time!! I am currently reading a Steampunk book with zombies in it! :D

Steampunk zombies? That's different. I think I may be intrigued. Ahhh classic "Dawn of the Dead". What zombi-file doesn't love that film? I will always hold the original "Night of the Living Dead" up above all others because it was the first. I can quote that movie from beginning to end in my sleep! haha Plus it's actually the first movie I ever remember seeing, when I was like 2 or 3. So I've been zombie obsessed pretty much my whole life. I guess it's fitting that my best friend's name is Barbara. *LOL*

Yea I'm a big wimp!! lol!! If the new game wasn't coming out I would have fought for it. But meh. Too late now.

Yay Night of the Living Dead! I just found out someone I know loves zombie movies and her Grandfather's truck is the one near the end that is lit on fire and the zombies are eating (the actors were eating chicken she said!) in it. I have to rewatch I can't remember that scene!
I didn't see zombie movies until I was 14. My 1st one was Return of the Living Dead 2!

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude That's awesome! Knowing me I'd be all "CAN I MEET YOUR GRANDPA? DOES HE STILL TALK TO GEORGE ROMERO? COULD YOUR GRANDPA INTRODUCE ME TO GEORGE ROMERO SO I CAN DIE HAPPY?!" I'd be half joking, but only half. Well... Maybe only like one-eight joking. *lol*

That's the scene when Ben and Tom are going to take the truck to the gas pump to fill it up and Judy is struck with a moment of supreme idiocy and is all "I'm going with them" and gets in the truck with them. Then it turns out the keys they found were the wrong ones so Ben puts his torch down and shoots the lock off the pump and Tom spews the gas all over the place and Ben is like "WATCH THE TORCH!" and you know he's thinking in his head "You fucking hick moron what's wrong with you?!?!" Then he's like "We have to get away from the pump!" so stupid Tom gets back in the truck (which is already on fire, btw) and starts driving away but like two seconds later he turns to Judy and says "We have to get out of the truck!" and he opens the door to get out but Judy's jacket is caught and rather than panicking 'cause he life's in danger and shrugging out of the damn thing, she's just like casually tugging on it like she's thinking "Oh fudge, I don't want to pull too hard because it might rip" and then KA-BOOM! they become a zombie BBQ buffet.

Gee, can you tell I've seen the movie a few times? XD

"Return of the Living Dead 2" was your first zombie movie? I am so sorry. LOL I've watched all the of the "Return of the Living Dead" movies and I'll watch a couple of them whenever they're on 'cause, hey, zombies but those movies are so awful. XD The first couple are good just for the sheer "WTFLOL" cringe factor, but after like 3... I just can't with them. "Rave to the Grave" was the worst. @_@

Oh yes, my bestie's name is Barbara. She's a huge zombie nut, too, so that makes it even better. XDDD

I know right!! I'd love to meet George Romero!! I don't know if it was him exactly who bought the truck. It was a piece of crap and they gave him $500 for it.

I love the corniness of Return of the Living Dead 2!! But yea not a top favorite but it has a special place in my heart for being #1..

Did you hear Tom Savini was trying to get a role on Walking Dead? I was so sad when he was turned down. :(

That is awesome that she is a zombie fan. If she was my friend every time i went to pick her up for something I would say "I'm coming to get you Barbara!" Did I say that right?

Ah. Yeah. He wanted to be the Governor. Honestly I understand why they turned him down. Tom Savini is amazing and he is a god in the zombie lover's pantheon, but from an objective viewpoint, he's a crappy actor. Can't have crappy actors on a show that has arguably some of the best actors on television in it. Let him help out with some special effects and direct an episode or two. He's best at those things. As an actor he's cheesy, campy, and lacks believability. Savini would be better suited to a minor role or a cameo as a particularly vicious walker. You know, his usual thing.
