Why a 25+ meme ?

Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds.  Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !

Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

What can we find in your LJ (private/fan stuff etc) / how much do you post: I usually post every week every other week. Lately I have not because I am watching too many dramas!! I also just watched the Princess' Man which stole all my free time!

Zombies! I have trouble finding people who like them. Mostly I like them in YA books, though. But still, zombies!

I keep wanting to watch Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but after watching Rooftop Prince, I'm afraid Mickey's going to disappointment, because I've heard he's bad in SS and he's AMAZING in RtP.

I love the zombie genre a lot. dawn of the Dead 1978 is my favorite movie of all time!! I am currently reading a book called Boneshaker (I think, I just started it) that I was told is a steampunk zombie book! Let me know about some good zombie books! I have actually never really read any..besides the Zombies Survival Handbook!


I really don't think Yoochun was terrible in SKKS. I liked his character as well as the other 2 guys (Played by Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In) and I loved Park Min Young as the female lead. The music is awesome. I am also a fan of gender bender plots..lol..

I really should see Dawn of the Dead. I can't remember the last zombie movie I saw, at least "real" zombie movie. We won't talk about my unhealthy love of the Resident Evil movie franchise. *cough* Wait, Boneshaker as in Cherie Priest? Because OMG. I love her and that series !!! Hmmm. Okay, here are a few off the top of my head: Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel (YA), Newsflesh trilogy by Mira Grant (Adult), Rot & Ruin (#1) & Dust & Decay (#2) by Joanthan Maberry (YA) and Handling the Undead by John Ajvide Lindqvist (adult). I'm a nerd, sorry. :P

I really want to watch Song Joong Ki in something, which is kind of one of the reasons I want to watch SKKS ... Maybe I'll give it a try after RtP ends.

Shaun of the Dead is an amusing zombie movie as is Zombieland! I do love the Resident Evil stuff too. I would kill for a movie based on the characters from the 1st game though!! Yes that is the book! I'm on page 60 soemthing and thinking there will be some zombie action soon!!

I really liked both of those movies. And 28 Days Later (I think that's it). I like the RE stuff for Milla, mostly. I can't play the games, shooters (especially FPS) make me motion sick (I tried to play Portal and made it 10 minutes before I realized that the reason I felt like I was going to throw up was the game and not me being sick). But I do own a Wii copy of one of the RE games. So, maybe that'll be different.

I love that series, I have one of the others in my apartment that I still need to read. I love Priest's characters, so much, omg.

I will give it a try, at some point.

Yes I like 28 days later too! I actually have a hard time playing the horror story games because they freak the shit out of me lol!! I get scared!! lol!! Silent Hill scared me the most. Some how I was able to play RE one though. I didn't know they has RE games for the Wii!! that's cool!

I don't think the games are actually that good for the Wii, but I guess they'll do? But mostly I use my Wii for the Wii Dance, Wii Fit and watching Netflix.
