Why a 25+ meme ?

Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds.  Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !

Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

I remember reading about that. I can sort of, maybe a tiny bit, understand where Triple S worries are coming from, but still. It's so overdramatic. but then again, that's part of kpop/fandom/etc. But, ugh. D:

Oh, man. It's tempting to keep watching it because of her.

Athena is so bad. SO. BAD. I like to read dramabeans' recaps and they called Jung Woo Sung's character Agent Dimwit because he was so stupid. I mean, Kim Min Jong's character was my favorite in the whole drama -- only because he was ridiculous and hilarious and had a personality. There was even that hate-sex scene that should've been hot, but it was actually super boring. I keep hoping Iris'll get better, but IDK if I want to drag myself through the remaining 13.5 episodes ...

YES. It is GLORIOUS and oh my god, so hilarious.

AH! Yes! yes we need to be friends! I was a DBSK fan back in the day (before Cassies went insane/before they ventured out into Japan-land). I was never super insane about them, though. Well... not much (maybe one day I'll tell you the story about how I found this candy where each box had a picture of one of the members of DBSK on it and I dug through every single box they had in the store searching for one with Yunho on it... and how I kept the box... and how 5 years later I still have the box >> *cough*)

ANYWAY! So glad to find someone who isn't brainwashed by SM. Like, seriously. @_@ I agree. We definitely need to be friends~

I was big into DBSK and SuJu...but after 3jib, I fell out of SuJu...I mean, out off all of them, I only like 5, and that's including Henry and Zhou Mi...=/

I don't mind EXO M, but I dislike K and avoid fx, though I do like Amber and Luna sort of after seeing her in the drama with KyuJong...

I feel like Jaejoong has his own set of huge-ass issues and probably their friendship is a mess. But then again, that seems to be the kind of friendships that Jaejoong has (see: Park Yong Ha).

I do quite like JYJ, but it's a very complicated relationship . And I have a couple of friends who are DBSK./TVXQ-only fans who really don't like (resent, etc) JYJ, so it doesn't bother me at all. Plus, there are several members of Super Junior who I wish would go away for a very long time -- so I understand!

I used to like JYJ a lot more than I do, and I think I wouldn't mind if they just did their own things instead of staying together (also, JYJ super fans scare me). And, of course, the reason I can like them is because of this post on how to be a fan of problematic things.

I just love how completely relaxed and comfortable MyungSoo is when he's with DongWoo...and they have the cutest moments, I swear...XD

Sungmin is my bias for SJ (I also like Eunhyuk and Yesung, and sort of Kangin, but ...). I basically don't like anyone else on SJ, though. I would LOVE LOVE it if Sungmin left SJ and got to do his own thing and be an adult. Which is why when I write fic, I try to make him a bit darker/etc than what most people do. In all two fics, but whatever.

He's so adorable. I wish I liked Beast more, but he's the cutest.

Oh, man. Yes. My current thing is to read lots of YA zombie books and write zombie AUs in fic ... Because i'm weird like that.

LOL You like more than I do. I liked SuJu when they first came out, but only for about 2 seconds. I kept liking Kangin but then grew kinda ambivalent. The only one I really ever liked and still love to this day is Sungmin.

HA! I suffer through f(x) occasionally because I really like Amber and I adore Luna. She's so awesome~ What drama was she in? I remember hearing about her being in one, but I totally forgot what it's called.
A couple of their songs are okay, but mostly I want to flee the room when they come on and part of it is because I despise Sulli and Krystal.

EXO... either of them/any of them/however many of them there are I am so disinterested it's not funny. I accidentally saw EXO-K perform a couple weeks ago and... *shakes head* How do people enjoy that? Like, really? I am genuinely confused over here. *shrug* Ah well.

That's why I went into as well. And while I was surprised that Jaejoong did so well, Ji Sung swept me off my feet, SIGH.

Wang Ji Hye was pretty good! I really liked her fantasy scene about making about with Jaejoong's character, that was awesome.

I think EXO M is better because they're a vocal group who happens to look good rather than K, who are a visual group who happen to be able to sing...

YES! THIS! I whine constantly about how much I wish Sungmin would leave SuJu and be a solo artist so I can pay more attention to him and give him all the love I have for him! haha He could do sooooo much better than the crap they churn out. Ah I think I'm going crazy over here. But in a good way! I've never found anyone else with this opinion. XD

aww I love B2ST~ But yes, Yoseob is definitely the cutest.

I have so many zombie AU fic ideas it's not funny. I have to rebuild my library, actually. I lost a lot of my books due to an unexpected move a few years ago. Lost a lot of my zombie books. =( I really need to get some more though because I'm more or less out of zombie movies to watch.

their songs don't do anything for me...their vocals haven't improved(from what I hear, Chun is destroying his even more), and they sound the same.

I prefer homin because there is definite and clear improvement as well as an evolution in their sound...but they still sound like TVXQ...

and I only like maybe half of SuJu now anyway...^^;;;

I could always tell who YoungSaeng was because he looked like a mirror image of Yesung. I didn't actually try to figure out who was who until my massive crack!fic for Nano in 2009. And i know in one section I still got HyunJoong and HyungJoon mixed up - their names, anyway.

Oh, the not-seeing-the-light-of-the-internet stories. I have a BUNCH of those. They're fun. They help me remember the fun of writing.

Ah... Yes. I did all my Mary Sues with Duran Duran when I was 13 or so, got them all out of my system. I went through the slash thing, too, and still write it some, but not as much. I just like Gen better.

Oh and I think EXO-K's ability to sing is somewhat subjective 'cause I'm certainly not impressed. Nor am I impressed with their dance skills. Nor do I really think any of them are particularly attractive. Like... maybe one of them. But... yeah... >> *cough*

The only other person I know who feels this way is my RL friend H, so to find someone else is so fantastic, OMG. One of the things I hate about a lot of SJ fans is the fact that many of them seem to think that Sungmin isn't good at anything/shouldn't be there/etc. And I'm like, BUT. He's good at basically everything, it's just that everyone else overshadows him. Which is why I want him to gtfo of SJ/SM and go be awesome, because I know he is.

I made the mistake (not really a mistake) of getting into CNBlue, and that ruined me for most kpop bands. #fail I still like Yoseob, though. And LOVE your icon.

Aww. I wrote Sungmin/Kangin zombie AU that's never seen the light of day, along with pro cyclists + zombies (massive AU). Oh, man! That's a huge bummer. I'm really into the YA stuff, two of my favorite zombie books are the Newsflesh serise by Mira Grant and Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel.

I like In Heaven, but mostly I like Junsu's voice. I said to a friend of mine yesterday, while we were watching RtP, that Mickey should just stop singing and become an actor. And IDEK about Jaejoong.

Homin never really did anything for me, but then again, neither did DBSK when they were five instead of two. We like what we like and IDK.

LOL that's more than I like. I've ended up like Yesung, Sungmin and Eunhyuk, with a side of Kangin sometimes (but mostly only in fic I write).
