Why a 25+ meme ?
Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds. Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !
Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

Mostly I order books because I live in a small-ish town and our bookstore doesn't carry so much in English. Which is the language I prefer to read in. Unless it's Swedish authors. You need to print your list and always carry with you! :)

Date: 2012-05-16 07:53 pm (UTC)I have to admit, it was their a capella stuff that totally snagged me and dragged me in. *still swoons over that* Just... amazing. Would gladly fall at the feet of anyone else who can do that sort of a capella harmony, since we no longer have the complete DBSK.
I've sort of fallen out of touch with all of them, frankly; finding stuff that JYJ have done is hard and I forget to search for them.

But, hey, to each their own, right? And, actually, most of the people who I was friends with right when I get into kpop (who were already kpop fans, much to my surprise) are all DBSK fans.

Oooh, it's so fun to start a new fandom. I've been doing that for almost thirty years, starting new fandoms (holy crap. Next year IS thirty years!). It never ceases to amaze me, the reactions I have...

I suck at drawing, but I still love to draw...even when I get totally frustrated when it doesn't turn out like I want lol I also suck at photoshop but I love playing around with it. I'd love to be a lot more creative...I want to learn how to sew someday, but I'm a bit scared of it..plus I'm a bad at learning sometimes, because I can be super impatient haha

I used to be a big Suju fan a few years back...I still like them, but I'm not as crayz about them as I used to be, to be honest.
I envy all those creative people who can do amazing stuff with their hands XD I love being creative, but I suck at most of the things I do TT
