Why a 25+ meme ?

Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds.  Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !

Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

I wanted to see TOP kiss! Sometimes I like to see how a bias kisses just so it's easier to fantasize about it later on. lol But then I wanted to see how the drama ended. So I watched it all. OMG, TOP's intense gaze... That arrogant little smirk... I kept rewinding his scenes.

I still can't quite admit to myself that I like him, mostly because I'm not a fan of Big Bang's music (and everyone likes them/etc). But ... do I really want to watch the rest of IRIS for him? Is it worth it?

I got into their music because of TOP. I also like Japanese dramas, and loved Bloody Monday so figured I'd enjoy Iris. First sight of TOP and I fell hard. If you like action dramas then you'll enjoy it. As I watched more and more of it I really enjoyed it.

I want to watch jdramas, but there are SO many of them. I also want to watch Chinese dramas, but they are hard to come by with English subs D: I started watching Iris because I saw Lee Byung Hun in GI Joe and enjoyed him there. But, idk. I didn't like Athena at all (seriously, the biggest bunch of stupid spies ....) and Iris is sort of heading toward Athena territory. I don't know, Hero (2012) might fulfill my need for action kdramas, but then again, TOP .... But I'm also in denial about him, LOL.

I'm not in denial. I know what he makes me feel. lol if you want, just look up Iris TOP scenes on youtube. SOMEONE must have posted them all... even subbed. You get your TOP fix, and don't have to watch all of Iris.

I totally forgot about looking for cuts on youtube. THANK YOU ... For me, it's kind of fun pretending I don't like TOP (even while I totally do). But now I can just go find the TOP bits and then read the recaps over on dramabeans. Oh, man. That's perfect. :D

What I've not seen on your kdrama list all sounds so interesting! I'm currently watching Rooftop Prince too and going to start Return of Iljimae as soon as I can squeeze it in.

I've read the Twilight books as well, hated them but I couldn't not finish, and seen the first two movies. Why I thouht that was a good idea I will never know. :p

I've tired sharing kpop/drama stuff with RL friends but they sort of go "O.o" at me so I've pretty much given up.

Every time I go to see one of the movies, I wonder why I do it. But then I remember that the person I go with (she's old enough to be my mother, but also a coworker and friend) makes everything worth it. We have lots of fun together. So, while I'll never really recover from seeing that birth scene, at least the company was good!

I've got the one RL friend, but most people (especially my sister) side-eye me a lot or humor me. Or just tune me out. It's so annoying.

I actually paid money to download stuff on dramaload.com. I don't usually like paying for stuff like that, they get their eps and subs from all over the net as well. But it saves me from haveing to search crappy torrents .... plus as it looks now I will have downloaded pretty much every drama on that site before my 'subscription' expires :P

I really don't know much about Suju, apart from a few member names and their music. I adore KyuHyun's voice and I have no idea why but I'm following Siwon on twitter.
ss501 will always be my favourite band. They got me into kpop (well.. the person who intro-ed them to me did .. ) .
And you never know who you end up biasing (I know that's not a word). I was very much into Leader the first few weeks, then I got to know them better and things changed. I really didn't like YoungSaeng at all at first, now I think he's totally hot and I love his music.
And Hyung Jun whom I thoguht was just a werid kid just totally stole my heart in 'Progamer' ♥
I actually pay least attention to Leader. I really do like him, I think it's just the sheer amount of stuff/news about him that I can't keep up with it preventing me from following what he does more.

I'm behind on RP as well. Just watched ep 12. I'm waiting for subs from WithS2, so I'm usually always behind on stuff (when they sub it I want their subs, but they're a little slower than the other places, but also better so it's worth the wait).

I love bonus points, thank you, I'll use them wisely :P

Tumblr is different though. I have a few 16 or so year olds that I follow. But you just click a button and that's it. No realy interaction.

I love creative people (and am often envious of them cos I wish I'd be as creative). Mostly cos I suck at anything creative. I try iconning in PS, but when I see other's icons, I'm ashamed of my 'art'.

As for the weird people ... some friends would tell you I'd qualify :p

And English is also not my first language so we could be weird in English together ;)

LOL the problem was the video kept starting and stopping and so it took me twice as long to watch the episodes. :-/ Otherwise, I was watching it on tudou.com (all with English subtitles).

I watch most of the stuff via Netflix, Hulu and Dramafever (which I pay for). I'm not picky about subtitles, but I do download stuff -- like Leader and Yonghwa (of CNBlue) on WGM. And a lot of music.

LOLOL Siwon is crazy and hilarious. I don't really like SJ's music. I just adore Sungmin, and a few of the other boys. I used to be way more into them (uh, last fall, when I got into kpop), but I'm definitely over them. I love all of ss501 (uh, my RL friend and I call them double ass, because I was reading something about them and that's what these girls called them and it stuck), but I'm not overly fond of their music. I really only like Kyu Jong and Young Saeng's solo stuff -- especially Youngsaeng. SIGH. I love Leader, not because of his singing or anything, but because he's so weird and wonderful. But to be honest, I was against liking ss501 at first, because I watched Boys of Flowers (as my first drama, seriously) and I could not STAND Leader. He was so bad. But he's grown on me, even if his acting hasn't improved (I made an effort to watch Playful Kiss, it ... didn't stick). I watched Thank You For Waking Me Up and that totally won me over for everyone, though Leader was my least favorite.

I think we've only gotten through episode 12 as well. Tonight after work my friend and I are getting together to watch more, though. I can't wait! Martinis and Rooftop Prince. I just watch whatever's up on Dramafever, because it's easier for both of us.

Yeah, that's true. I do interact with a lot of people on tumblr, but mostly becauseI know them through LJ.
