Why a 25+ meme ?

Being a slightly older kpop and kdrama fan I (and a few others with me) always get a little disappointed by the friending memes.
Lots of 12-17ish year olds.  Nothing wrong with being that age (it's wonderful), but someone 25+ or even 35+ can get a bit
discouraged by it. At least that's how it is for me.
I suspect there might be lots of older fans, like me, who feel like that. If you're 25+ - 35+ you really don't have much in common with a
16 year old.That's a fact. It always keeps me from participating in the memes, thinking what's the use ?I'm thinking there might be more fans out there feeling the same way. So therefore the 25+ cut off. Also since this is a 25+ meme please only participate if you're in fact 25 or older !

Also this meme doesn't have a deadline. No need to comment within the first 5 mins after posting (though you're welcome to do so).
There's time zones and I assume most 25+ y.o. have college,work and families to deal with (that pesky real life !)

Love TTMIK!!

I don't knoiw...all I do to learn/practice is look at some flash cards I made maybe once a week! lol. I did purchase the 1st 3 levels of lessons on cd from TTMIK to listen to in the car but I missed listening to music so I stopped using them! I will again though..lolo..maybe we can motivate eachother lol!

LMAO !! I have the actual what were they called again ... learning books ? practise (and I never know when to use practise or practice .... I can't even do English) books ?
yes that is how much I have used them lately *headdesks*

I do have an ipad app that I use sort of regulary, with flash cards. But I tend to forget a lot too when I don't use the words or hear them somewhere >.<
I'm not even gonna mention grammar *brain breaks*

Steampunk zombies? That's different. I think I may be intrigued. Ahhh classic "Dawn of the Dead". What zombi-file doesn't love that film? I will always hold the original "Night of the Living Dead" up above all others because it was the first. I can quote that movie from beginning to end in my sleep! haha Plus it's actually the first movie I ever remember seeing, when I was like 2 or 3. So I've been zombie obsessed pretty much my whole life. I guess it's fitting that my best friend's name is Barbara. *LOL*

Ahh Finally I know the drummer's name! information I could have easily looked up on my own but didn't care enough to do so! hahaha He is adorable. Clearly, though, I don't know anything about him. XD I didn't know he was in "Heartstrings". I hadn't been planning on watching that, but I started considering it after I finally watched "You're Beautiful". It's on the short list now.

You must not follow Allkpop either? The Jo twins are pretty famous. One of the first things everyone started squealing about when their group was announced was that there were twins in it. And then people found out it was them and more spazzing commenced. I just took one look at the twins and their ages and said to myself "It's official; I'm going to hell because fml they're hot! x_X" I'm going to hell a million times over, it's not even funny. @_@ (except that it kinda is XD)
It just took me a minute to tell them apart but now I can point out which is Youngmin and which is Kwangmin with just a glance.

Heechul on the other hand.... his crazy, creepy, rape eyes have pure evil behind them. I completely agree with everything you just said. They are cute, there's no question. My friend loves them.

I'm still working on telling which is which. Twins is harder for me - It was hard enough getting the rest of them! I'm notorious for taking forever to figure out who is who. Thank goodness for tumblr that feeds me all sorts of pictures to practice with.

I've had a couple of groups I did that *oh, I'm so going to hell for this" on, but not this one.

I go through periods where I lock everything and then periods where I'm like "Fuck it. Who cares?" I do still tend to lock the more personal entries, though.

haha I guess since my mom was a teenager in the age of the birth of the teen idol she gets it more. She was all about Donnie Osmond when she was a teenager and then she actually was the BSB and NSYNC fan while I was all, "um... they're okay I guess. I'm gonna be over here listening to musicals and heavy metal and alt rock and anime soundtracks." XD I didn't get any of it for a long time, actually. I grew out of it, though. hahaha

It does. The worst is that I'd write sports RPF for all of these big bangs and no one would like them. Or I wrote this huge TSN/Inception crossover fic that people didn't like or IDK. Ugh. I like grand tragedies that end bitter-sweetly, which people don't like, I guess?

OMG. I LOVE AUs. Love love love. In fact, if I could ever get myself to write, there are so many AUs that I want to write (my sticky post on LJ has a looong list of fics & pairings I want to write). I wish I knew something about Gundam Wing, because I LOVE SG-1.
